SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) was a lunar lander mission from JAXA. Launched on Sep 6, 2023 aboard the H-IIA rocket from Tanegashima, Japan. It landed on the moon on Jan 20, 2024 Japan time.
The mission's main purpose was to demonstrate precision lunar landing.
