Kounotori HTV-9
Kounotori HTV-9 was launched on May 20, 2020 carrying 6 new lithium-ion batteries to the ISS. These batteries will upgrade the S6 truss power channels from their original nickel hydrogen batteries.
Launch Site: Tanegashima, Japan

The Exposed pallet from HTV-9 was extracted by Canadarm 2 and attached to the MBS/POA.
Departure: On Aug 18, 2020 the old Exposed pallet 8 with old batteries was placed back in the unpressurized compartment of HTV-9 for disposal during re-entry. The HTV-9 pallet with old batteries was jettisoned from the station by the Canadarm2 into space on March 11, 2021.
