STS-130 Payload / 20A / "TRANQUILITY" Node 3

Space Shuttle Endeavour was scheduled for launch on Feb 7, 2010 but was scrubbed due to poor weather.

On Feb 8, 2010 at 4:14 am it was successfully launched on its penultimate voyage carrying the last US segment module, the "Tranquility" Node 3 and the Cupola.

Node 3 "Tranquility" will provide additional room for crew members and many of the station's life support and environmental control systems. Attached to Node 3 is the Cupola, which is a robotic control station with six windows around its sides and another in the center that will provide a panoramic view of Earth, celestial objects and visiting spacecrafts.

Several robotic operations via the Space Station Robotic Arm were performed along with 3 spacewalks.

The photos shown on this presentation, demonstrate the robotic operations that took place during this highly successful mission.

This papermodel was made possible through sources from NASA website, NASA photo gallery and Robotics documentation.

This model is available via Paypal in both scales, 1:144 and 1:100.

Enjoy!
