SPACE X "Falcon-9 v1.1 / Dragon"

CRS-7 (Cargo Resupply Services Mission 7)

SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 v1.1 CRS-7 on June 28, 2015 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SCL-40) of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station becoming the Seventh Cargo Resupply Services Mission, but disintegrated 139 seconds into the flight after launch, just before the first stage was to separate from the second stage.

Dragon SpX-7 carried the first IDA (International Docking Adapter) #1. This adapter would have been attached to one of the existing Pressurized Mating Adapters (specifically, PMA-2) and convert the existing APAS-95 docking interface to the new NASA Docking System (NDS). The new adapter is intended to facilitate future docking of new U.S. human-transport spacecraft. Previous United States cargo missions since the retirement of the Space Shuttle have been berthed, rather than docked, while docking is considered the safer and preferred method for spacecraft carrying humans.

The paper model used for this mission is the same as the model from the previous mission, the CRS-6. No payload is included in the file.
