Starship S33
Ship 33 and Booster 14 were successfully launched as part of Flight Test 7 on Jan 16, 2025. This was the inaugural flight of a Block 2 Ship. The mission was planned to test the deployment system for 10 Starlink satellites. During the initial burn, the Ship 33 engines experienced premature shutdowns, followed by a loss of telemetry. The vehicle exploded likely due to a fuel leak. SuperHeavy Booster 14 successfully returned to the launch site and was caught by the launch tower chopsticks. This was the second booster recovered.
