The SuperHeavy booster BN-3 was rolled out on July 1, 2021 from the High Bay and was placed on Suborbital pad A modified mount for a series of ground testing objectives.
The booster consists of 36 rings with no grid fins.
The engine section has two parts: the thrust dome that will hold 9 Raptors, and an outer ring that will hold 20 fixed Raptors. The BN-3 booster has Raptor engines: sn62, sn57 and sn59.
The BN-3 test will pave the way for booster 4 which will host Starship 20 for a full stack orbital ride later this year.
